Anna Luce – 2017 MIGB/MIHS Alumni
2017 MIGB/MIHS alum had a record breaking year in her final season at MIHS. The Dartmouth commit broke a number of school records (Most Rebounds – 21, Most Scoring – 38, Single Season Points 772, Single Season Rebounds 313, 1,700 Career Varsity Points, 840 Career Varsity Rebounds) and received several honors (Kingco 3A MVP, WIAA 3A State Tournament MVP, Seattle Times Player of the Year, Tacoma News Tribune Player of the Year) in the 2016-2017 season.
Jess Blakeslee – 2016 MIGB/MIHS Alumni
2016 MIGB/MIHS alum begins her inaugural season as a Tiger for University of the Pacific in Stockton California. Jess won numerous awards over her career at MIHS including being named to First team All KingCo and was a 2016 McDonalds All American Nominee.We can’t wait to see her in action
2013 MIGB / MIHS alumni is about to wrap her final year at Claremont McKenna in an Athena Uniform. She was named to First team All-SCIAC selection in 2015 and helped The Claremont-Mudd- Scripps(CMS)Athenas to win the SCAIC league title. Read about last year’s season click here
Graduated from Humboldt State University in the spring of 2015 and was drafted into the Korean Professional basketball league. Jae was named KingCo All-League most valuable player in 2010-11 after being a KingCo. She was named Queens of the Hardwood and Washington All-State All-Star and a 2011 McDonald’s All-American nominee. To read more about Jae’s college career, click here
Hannah played college ball at Emory in Atlanta Georgia. From the beginning she made her presence known earning a number of honors. During her freshman year she was named to the Second Team -All UAA, and Rookie of the Year for her conference. That same year, D3hoops.com also named her to the All-South Region Second Team. In her Sophomore and Junior year she was named to First Team – All UAA and in her Senior year, despite a mid season knee injury she was named Second Team – all UAA. She also accumulated a number of other accolades, Below are just a few of them

Janelle is one of those rare athletes that seems to excel at every sport she tries. She was a three sport Varsity Athlete who holds the record at MIHS for the most Varsity Letters- 12 in total. She was a 4 year starter on the Basketball squad and was recruited to play D1 Volleyball at The University of Idaho. In her senior year she walked on to the Vandal’s Basketball team.
After graduation she returned to MIHS as a coach for the Volleyball program and also joined MIGB as the head JV Basketball coach. An accomplished athlete Janelle continues to compete in Fitness competitions and works as a trainer.
